RYR1 Antibody
RYR1 Antibody (catalogue number 37887) is a rabbit-derived primary antibody validated for Western blot, reactive with Hu Ms samples. It targets Ryanodine receptor 1 (RYR1): Cytosolic calcium-activated calcium channel that mediates the release of Ca(2+) from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the cytosol and thereby plays a key role in triggering muscle contraction following depolarization of T-tubules. Supplied as 100ul at ₪1,301.17; the final price is confirmed on your quote and the lot certificate of analysis ships with the order.

Target background
Target: Ryanodine receptor 1 (RYR1) · Homo sapiens
Cytosolic calcium-activated calcium channel that mediates the release of Ca(2+) from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the cytosol and thereby plays a key role in triggering muscle contraction following depolarization of T-tubules. Repeated very high-level exercise increases the open probability of the channel and leads to Ca(2+) leaking into the cytoplasm. Can also mediate the release of Ca(2+) from intracellular stores in neurons, and may thereby promote prolonged Ca(2+) signaling in the brain. Required for normal embryonic development of muscle fibers and skeletal muscle.
Subcellular location: Sarcoplasmic reticulum membrane
Tissue specificity: Skeletal muscle and brain (cerebellum and hippocampus)
Sequence length: 5038 aa · 565176 Da
