The nanotube formation of Fmoc-FF has been studied by Gazit and Reches·Jayawarna et al· found that this self-assembling dipeptide forms fibrous hydrogels at pH<8· Such hydrogels are excellently suited for 3D cell microculture formation, they can be modified by addition of Fmoc-amino acids as Fmoc-Lys-OH (B-1870)
