kappa Opioid Receptor Rabbit mAb

kappa Opioid Receptor Rabbit mAb (catalogue number 57282) is a rabbit-derived primary antibody validated for WB IP, reactive with Rat samples. It targets Kappa-type opioid receptor (Oprk1): G protein-coupled opioid receptor that functions as a receptor for endogenous alpha-neoendorphins and dynorphins, but has low affinity for beta-endorphins. Supplied as 100ul at ₪1,627.49; the final price is confirmed on your quote and the lot certificate of analysis ships with the order.

Target background

Target: Kappa-type opioid receptor (Oprk1) · Mus musculus

G protein-coupled opioid receptor that functions as a receptor for endogenous alpha-neoendorphins and dynorphins, but has low affinity for beta-endorphins. Also functions as a receptor for various synthetic opioids and for the psychoactive diterpene salvinorin A. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase. Signaling leads to the inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity.

Subcellular location: Cell membrane

Tissue specificity: Detected in brain (at protein level). Brain (neocortex, hippocampus, amygdala, medial habenula, hypothalamus, locus ceruleus, and parabrachial nucleus)

Sequence length: 380 aa · 42652 Da
