NKX3.1 Rabbit mAb

NKX3.1 Rabbit mAb (catalogue number 56346) is a recombinant rabbit-derived primary antibody validated for WB IHC, reactive with Human samples. It targets Homeobox protein Nkx-3.1 (NKX3-1): Transcription factor, which binds preferentially the consensus sequence 5'-TAAGT[AG]-3' and can behave as a transcriptional repressor. Supplied in 2 pack sizes, from 50ul at ₪1,015.65 to 100ul at ₪1,382.75; the final price is confirmed on your quote and the lot certificate of analysis ships with the order.

Target background

Target: Homeobox protein Nkx-3.1 (NKX3-1) · Homo sapiens

Transcription factor, which binds preferentially the consensus sequence 5'-TAAGT[AG]-3' and can behave as a transcriptional repressor. Plays an important role in normal prostate development, regulating proliferation of glandular epithelium and in the formation of ducts in prostate. Acts as a tumor suppressor controlling prostate carcinogenesis, as shown by the ability to inhibit proliferation and invasion activities of PC-3 prostate cancer cells

Subcellular location: Nucleus

Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in the prostate and, at a lower level, in the testis

Sequence length: 234 aa · 26350 Da
