Stromal interaction molecule 1 Antibody
Stromal interaction molecule 1 Antibody (catalogue number 49165) is a rabbit-derived primary antibody validated for Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, reactive with Human, Mouse, Rat samples. It targets Stromal interaction molecule 1 (STIM1): Acts as a Ca(2+) sensor that gates two major inward rectifying Ca(2+) channels at the plasma membrane: Ca(2+) release-activated Ca(2+) (CRAC) channels and arachidonate-regulated Ca(2+)-selective (ARC) channels. Supplied in 2 pack sizes, from 50ul at ₪1,219.60 to 100ul at ₪2,035.38; the final price is confirmed on your quote and the lot certificate of analysis ships with the order.

Target background
Target: Stromal interaction molecule 1 (STIM1) · Homo sapiens
Acts as a Ca(2+) sensor that gates two major inward rectifying Ca(2+) channels at the plasma membrane: Ca(2+) release-activated Ca(2+) (CRAC) channels and arachidonate-regulated Ca(2+)-selective (ARC) channels. Plays a role in mediating store-operated Ca(2+) entry (SOCE), a Ca(2+) influx following depletion of intracellular Ca(2+) stores. Upon Ca(2+) depletion, translocates from the endoplasmic reticulum to the plasma membrane where it activates CRAC channel pore-forming subunits ORA1, ORA2 and ORAI3 to generate sustained and oscillatory Ca(2+) entry. Involved in enamel formation.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton; Sarcoplasmic reticulum
Tissue specificity: Ubiquitously expressed in various human primary cells and tumor cell lines
Sequence length: 685 aa · 77423 Da
