Subcellular location: Cytoplasm; Nucleus

Tissue specificity: Expressed in the neuronal cells of the cerebrum and cerebellum, spermatocytes of the testis, pancreatic cells and also the heart. Expressed in both primary and metastatic neuroblastomas and in thyroid tumors (at protein level). Expression is associated with poor prognosis in neuroblastoma.
