Plays a role in intracellular vesicle-mediated transport. Involved in the endocytosis of cell-surface receptors like the EGF receptor, contributing to its internalization in the absence of EGF stimulus. Essential for endothelial organization in sprouting angiogenesis, modulates CDH5-based junctions.
