SYT7 Antibody

SYT7 Antibody (catalogue number 35938) is a rabbit-derived primary antibody validated for WB IHC, reactive with Human samples. It targets Synaptotagmin-7 (SYT7): Ca(2+) sensor involved in Ca(2+)-dependent exocytosis of secretory and synaptic vesicles through Ca(2+) and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain. Supplied as 100ul at ₪1,301.17; the final price is confirmed on your quote and the lot certificate of analysis ships with the order.

Target background

Target: Synaptotagmin-7 (SYT7) · Homo sapiens

Ca(2+) sensor involved in Ca(2+)-dependent exocytosis of secretory and synaptic vesicles through Ca(2+) and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain. Ca(2+) induces binding of the C2-domains to phospholipid membranes and to assembled SNARE-complexes; both actions contribute to triggering exocytosis. SYT7 binds Ca(2+) with high affinity and slow kinetics compared to other synaptotagmins. Involved in Ca(2+)-triggered lysosomal exocytosis, a major component of the plasma membrane repair.

Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Presynaptic cell membrane; Cytoplasmic vesicle, secretory vesicle, synaptic vesicle membrane; Lysosome membrane; Cytoplasmic vesicle, phagosome membrane; Peroxisome membrane; Cytoplasmi

Tissue specificity: Expressed in a variety of adult and fetal tissues

Sequence length: 403 aa · 45501 Da
