HP1γ (Phospho-Ser93) Antibody

HP1γ (Phospho-Ser93) Antibody (catalogue number 11768) is a rabbit-derived primary antibody validated for Western blot, reactive with Human samples. It targets Chromobox protein homolog 3 (CBX3): Component of heterochromatin, which recognizes and binds histone H3 tails methylated at 'Lys-9', leading to epigenetic repression. Supplied in 2 pack sizes, from 50ul at ₪893.28 to 100ul at ₪1,301.17; the final price is confirmed on your quote and the lot certificate of analysis ships with the order.

Target background

Target: Chromobox protein homolog 3 (CBX3) · Homo sapiens

Component of heterochromatin, which recognizes and binds histone H3 tails methylated at 'Lys-9', leading to epigenetic repression. Also recognizes and binds histone H1.4 methylated at 'Lys-26' (H1.4K26me). Excluded from chromatin when histone H1.4 is Simultaneously methylated at Lys-26 (H1.4K26me) and phosphorylated at Ser-27 (H1.4S27Ph). Involved in the formation of functional kinetochore through interaction with MIS12 complex proteins.
